The short story of the park: Its been around for about 5 years. It’s here because the City of Atascadero and a few key constituents have a big heart for kids. They bought this huge warehouse, and committed the facility to the Rec and Park Dept. The folks running this Dept were determined to replace a sorely outdated outdoor park with a year-round indoor facility. The owners of the local boardsport shop called Mobley’s came in and took on the responsibility of day to day operations, and invested a lot into the structures that now make up the park. Recently, new management added a pro shop, new masonite and fresh paint to the facility. The park is now on a mission to become self sustaining. More events are planned including another contest event scheduled for New Years weekend… so stay in touch.

Also keep in mind that the facility can be rented for $100 for 3 hours, for photo sessions, filming, parties, running your RC car or whatever… just let us know.

$100 per month gets you a banner in the park, and pays for 5 memberships valued at $20 each, that you can issue yourself, or assign to staff to sponsor kids that otherwise cannot afford to join. The money goes toward maintaining the facility. Members earn total access to the park.. Anyone else can access the park for free M – F 3pm to 5pm.
